M. Lovewell- Macramé Landscape Tapestry

Come join me at M.Lovewell in Santa Ana and dive into the relaxing craft of macramé, an art form created by tying different types of knots. 

In this class, you will select your choice of 1-3 beautiful colors of string and learn to wrap natural colored string around them using knots which will result in a personalized knotted tapestry for your wall. You will learn all of the basics to getting started with macrame and master several of the most commonly used knots. You'll be guided toward ways to customize your tapestry as well, from choosing how to assort your colors and to even modify the shape and design of the tapestry itself to your liking. 

We will provide all of the materials needed to create your unique piece of art: a wooden dowel, an assortment of lovely string colors to choose from ahead of time, scissors, measuring tape, a comb for brushing…
